Include ability to create Pin Template Styles. On a lot of maps, I don’t modify the look of the pin because it’s just too much work. I wish instead, when developing a page, there was a page type field (city, town, village, PoI, NPC, Map, Encounter, …). This would drive the shape and color of the pin automatically.

I probably could implement most of this with templates if the logic to set a page icon included the option to also define the default pin style and color.

Additionally, I sometimes just want to see a number that corresponds to a location or room number. Not sure exactly how you implement this, but one option would be to create a page sidecar field called Reference Id that could contain a short alpha-numeric characters (Examples: 32, 4a, B).
