Not sure how much of an issue this is in other languages, but let's just say German is a very pecise, but rarely succinct language. My template names are, for that reason, rather long. Plus, they are ordered by categories in their name, so for example "Geography - Landmark" or "Geography - Settlement" and so on.

When creating a new page, often times I forgot how exactly it's called and I have to look it up to search for stuff because I simply can't be sure from the parts I see. For that reason I'd like for the full template name to be shown on hover. Hell, I'd settle for a simple list view instead of three columns where names get cut off.
