Suggestion - not a feature.

I’d like to suggest that LK not use the term “Fog of War” in upcoming features. I understand that it is commonly used in computer games and that it stems from early war games. It really isn’t accurate. The term Fog of War refers to the confusion caused in war. I think it is clearer to call the computer feature, as we know it, either “Veiled” or “Cloaked”. The feature could be called “Veiled Map” or “Cloaked Map” . Maybe “Fog of War” is too ingrained at this point, but it kind of annoys me every time I hear it. My OCD forced me to post this.

I actually instantly understand what it would do to a map as I've seen it called just that in years of gaming.
I'm also fine with another term as long as it makes sense.

I actually agree, haha. It's very specific jargon and isnt' self-explanatory. We'll probably call the feature fog of war on some marketing pages, but the actual feature itself, when added to maps, will be called something else.
