In a to do list when I'm indenting, I can either backspace or shift+tab to de-indent.

In a regular bullet list (and probably number list) I can only shift+tab, backspacing removes the bullet point.

I regularly use both types of lists and constantly get mixed up in whether I can backspace or not, and end up getting frustrated by losing all my bullets and having to fix it.
